Walking day in the old walled city. DJ declined. The cobblestones, though interesting, really would have done in her bad ankle.

Because a "No Swimming" sign was posted on the beach, we only put our fingers in the Aegean Sea.
We found the Archeological Museum, housed the Hospital of the Knights of St. John. [Why does the hospital need cannon balls? Mary wants to know.]

I found a place to mail a postcard. We found a gelato shop and the Library, together. Mary says every library should have a gelato shop just across the street.
The gelato we bought at a different shop, because we wanted the handmade kind. HOWEVER, we were not impressed: the angulia (watermelon) was a 2, the fruitti de bosco (raspberry) was a 3, and the giocci (hazelnut) was only a 3.
We spent the afternoon writing this deathless prose.
